Hazeal Newman’s three core offerings are accountancy, taxation, business consultancy and financial planning services.
Our accountancy and tax services include taxation advice, bookkeeping, preparation of tax returns (from the simple to the very complex), BAS, GST, financial statement preparation, fringe benefit tax; and SMSF and Superannuation advice and support.
Business Consultancy support includes business advisory services, budgeting, cash flow, succession planning and estate planning, and business set-up and structuring. We provide Financial Planning assistance through our long-term partner Midsec, supporting you in key areas including wealth creation and investing.

With over 20 years’ experience in the accounting industry, Adam has been at Hazeal Newman and Associates since 2003.
Born and Bred on the lower Eyre Peninsula, Adam has an affinity with the area and assists clients across a broad range of industries. However, agribusiness is his specialty, with many of his clients operating in the agricultural sector on Eyre Peninsula and beyond.
Adam is passionate about his clients and keeps in regular contact with them to ensure that his advice and assistance is tailored to their ongoing needs.

Todd joined Hazeal Newman & Associates in 2009 and brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
With extensive experience across a broad range of industries, Todd provides practical and commercially focused advice to individuals, businesses and family groups, with a strong focus on taxation, business structuring and strategic advisory services.
Todd has particular expertise in superannuation and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and is the firm’s specialist in this area. His extensive knowledge and experience enable him to assist clients with the increasingly complex taxation, compliance and strategic issues associated with superannuation and SMSFs.
Todd values long-term client relationships and takes a practical, straightforward approach to helping clients understand their options and make informed financial and business decisions.

Born and raised on rural Eyre Peninsula, Brett has previously worked in a variety of businesses within the fishing, property and retail sectors.

During her time with the firm, Kirsten has continued to develop her professional knowledge and qualifications, completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) through Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, in addition to her Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
Kirsten is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). Kirsten is committed to providing a high standard of professional service and maintaining up to date knowledge through ongoing professional development.
With extensive experience and a practical approach, Kirsten works closely with clients to understand their individual circumstances and provide accounting and taxation support tailored to their needs.

Originally from Cowell, Tim started with Hazeal Newman and Associates in December 2014 after he completed his bachelor of commerce through Flinders University, Adelaide
Tim also volunteers locally with the South Australian State Emergency Services.
Tim plays for the Wayback Football Club & Tod River Cricket club.

Todd specialises in business and tax accounting. He studied his Accounting Degree externally while working in another sector. During University breaks he took part in a Graduate Program through a local firm between 2011 - 2013.
Todd started at Hazeal Newman and Associates in 2015 after completing his degree, completing his CPA in 2018. Todd and his wife Robyn are family-orientated and out of work he enjoys taking part in sports including mixed netball and tennis.

Tate commenced his accounting career in 2015 while completing his undergraduate Commerce degree and continued working in the industry until 2023. He then transitioned into banking, where he spent two years as a Bank Manager, before returning to the accounting profession in 2026.
Tate is currently completing a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, which he expects to complete in 2026. This will enable him to expand his services to include business finance consulting and broking.
Tate prides himself on building strong interpersonal relationships and providing genuine, personalised support to the clients and communities he serves. He is committed to understanding each client’s individual circumstances and helping them achieve their financial and business goals.
Outside of work, Tate enjoys spending time with his family and being actively involved in community sport.
